What do BMW, Nena and media design graduate Anastasia Bondarenko have in common? Exactly – they all received the most important award for sustainable technology innovation in Germany: the GreenTec Award 2015. Anastasia’s thesis “Eco Monsters” was especially honored with the “Galileo Wissenspreis 2015”. The concept convinced the jury because of its playful approach to educate children in environmentally friendly behavior, thus promoting sustainable social change and consciousness. “Galileo”-TV presenter Funda Vanroy handed over the 5,000 Euro prize during the “GreenTec Awards”-Gala at the Tempodrom in Berlin. The “Galileo Wissenspreis” honors inventions and initiatives that promote sustainability and support a responsible lifestyle in harmony with the environment. Since 2008, the “GreenTec Awards” celebrate innovative projects and products which set standards in environmentally responsible technology.
