First gold at the ADC and now gold at aed neuland! Leonie Auer, Benjamin Branner, Tanja Bücheler, Lorena Mauz, and Nicole Sauter win the first prize of €2,000 in the category Communication Design.

“The campaign brings the largely invisible problem of sexual harassment in driving schools into the spotlight – clearly, boldly, and with measurable impact,” the jury explained their choice. “Accompanied by social media storytelling, public relations, and a toolkit for driving schools, the campaign translates outrage into concrete options for action. It thus impressively demonstrates how effective communication design makes social injustices visible, empowers those affected, and simultaneously motivates institutions to change.”

The project was supervised by Prof. Herbert Moser, Mona Bianca Dürer, Jule Raschke, Niko Hornig, Johannes Lörz, Jonathan Kopetzky, and Chris Ehni.

The aed is a non-profit initiative supported by its members. Its aim is to promote the strong design competence in the Stuttgart region – from product and graphic design to multimedia and engineering to architecture – and to make it accessible to the public. The “aed neuland” competition was held for the tenth time with the support of the Karl Schlecht Foundation and other sponsors. The award ceremony took place in July 2025 at the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Architects in Stuttgart.
