»ANIMETUS« is an abstract visualization of driving anxiety, gives a tangible form to an elusive subject. Different types of driving anxiety are transferred to car parts and deformed according to the severity of the anxiety. In the course of overcoming fear, the object changes: deformations loosen and decorative elements are added to the animetus for mastering a particular challenge. The abstract visualization is integrated into a digital application for tablet and vehicle. A fear overcoming course, assistance for concrete driving situations and a relaxed atmosphere in the car support overcoming driving fear.
