»Happiness» as a term is omnipresent and represents the ultimate goal for many people. During a stay in Africa, western tourists often make the claim that Africans are happier than Europeans. Is the continent that itself was mocked and exploited for centuries now teaching us something in our search for happiness? »esperado« therefore visually explores the definition of happiness in South African countries – specifically Mozambique. The viewer is given a decisive role in the process by means of an interactive music video.
