Greetings from Portugal!
The 20th International Week of Universidade Europeia, IADE-UE, IPAM Lisboa and IPAM Porto took place in Lisbon from 23 to 27 February.
The UE International Week is a format for representatives from partner universities around the world to network and exchange ideas on higher education and research. International lecturers are actively involved in the respective study programmes through lectures and workshops. In his lecture »The Design Tools of the Future That We Really Need«, Prof. Dr. Klaus Birk (MD programme director) presented practice-led content and design methodologies from the DHBW Centre for Immersive Media. This was followed by an inspiring exchange with lecturers and doctoral students from IADE’s PhD Design programme on individual research approaches at UE and DHBW.
The short trip provided an opportunity to get to know IADE’s Oriente Green Campus, which opened in September. Prof. Birk also met with MdRV students who are currently enjoying their Erasmus semester abroad at IADE-UE Lisbon!
