For more than a quarter of a century, the Spotlight Festival for Moving Image has been accompanying, presenting and evaluating the German-speaking creative scene; the festival itself has become an institution. A total of 80 awards were presented in nine categories in the Professional and Students sections.
All the more imporessive the award Yasmin Rademann and Lena Lazaridis received for their Media Design BAC thesis »same streets, same sky«: in the »AI – Digital Transformation« category, their short film was the only student project to be recognised in 2025 and won a fantastic Bronze Award!
Congratulations!
The Spotlight Festival for Moving Images is a renowned creative competition that has been organised annually since 1998 and is now considered the largest festival of its kind in the German-speaking world. The winning works not only impress with the quality of their realisation. Each entry also provides a coping strategy for dealing with the increasingly turbulent present.
