Sarah will talk us through her journey, from studying type design in Paris to establishing herself as designer specialised in branding and editorial working mainly for the arts and culture fields. She will share the hurdles she encountered on her journey to landing her dream job and her pursuit for a good work life balance and her quest for the ideal work environment.

Sarah Boris is an award winning London-based graphic designer specialised in branding and editorial design. After working for over ten years for organisations such as PhaidonICABarbican or Tate, she set up her own design practice in 2015. She collaborates with institutions such as The Photographers‘ Gallery and publishers such as Thames & HudsonLaurence King as well as working with artists. Her work was recently acquired by the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam and is part the collection of the FRAC in France which features graphic design and contemporary art. She has spoken in Graphic design festivals in Holland and France. She taught at the London College of Communication (LCC), and the Cass School of Architecture and Design. She has also given talks at several UK universities, as well as It’s Nice That Nicer TuesdaysGrafik Letterform LiveWomen Who.
She was Judge Foreman / President for D&AD Professional Awards and sat on the jury of several other awards. She graduated from the MA Typo/Graphic Studies in 2004 at LCC (then known as LCP).
