These sights illuminate two historical Ravensburg landmarks at once: In addition to the course’s ancestral home, the Altes Theater, the Obertor (Upper Gate) of the city of Ravensburg will now also be featured.
A varied programme of subtle, innovative works and events is intended to stimulate discussion and reflection. After the welcome and an introduction to the exhibition on Saturday morning, in the afternoon the Baden-Württembergische Bank will award graduates of the past year with the “Ravensburg Design Prize” 2017. Later, Prof. Dr. Sarah Owens from the Zurich University of the Arts will give a keynote speech on “Software as Co-Designer” and pose critical questions about the future of designers.
On Sunday, the exhibition will open with a hearty Weißwurst breakfast at 11.00 am. From 2.00 p.m., Ephraim Ebertshäuser will moderate the Alumnitalk. In this open round of talks, alumni of the degree programme will give an insight into their careers, show possible perspectives and discuss questions that concern them.
