Under the motto “Re-Modeling the 1980s”, the continuing vitality and validity of the music of this era will be demonstrated. The focus is on current remixes, remakes and club edits of music from the 1980s.
The look back is also taken from the perspective of DJ Jaywalk, who was a student DJ in the 1980s and now teaches on the media design programme at DHBW Ravensburg, as well as from the young perspective of Jana Himmel, a media design student at DHBW Ravensburg.
In addition, it is also important to focus on little-represented migrant dance music, especially that made in Germany in the 1980s.
