»The New Normal – AI and the Creation for Media Environments« talks about the latest developments and challenges in the field of artificial intelligence and their current impact on the media industry. Experienced experts provide insights into technologies, usage opportunities and explorations: from scientific publishing with the help of AI, to its role in the context of media agencies, interactive motion design and artistic explorations of the technology and its application. Of course this often encompasses ethical considerations – which will also be discussed.
In addition to presentations, there will be interactive discussions, networking opportunities and project presentations allowing interactive participation.

Within »Open Lab« formats, participants will have ample opportunity to get to know the Centre for Empirical Communication Research and the newly founded Centre for Immersive Media with its MultiCast Studio.
The event is jointly organised by the Centre for Empirical Communication Research (ZEK) and the new Center for Immersive Media (CIM). It is aimed at educational buisness partners, students, DHBW employees, experts from the media industry, AI enthusiasts and anyone interested in the interface between technology and creativity.
