his thesis project “Dark Sky” was awarded a “Best-of-the-Best” at the international Red Dot Design Award Communication Design 2016!

Participants from 46 nations across the world demonstrated their skills in a total of 21 categories. The numerous communication and design projects were evaluated by a jury of 26 industry experts. In an appraisal process lasting several days, they decided who would be awarded the Red Dot this year. In 2016, only 0,8 percent of the works submitted were honoured with the Red Dot: Best of the Best – the award for outstanding design expertise.

During a grand winner gala in Berlin on 4th November 2016, the final winners of the Red Dot Grand Prix and the Junior Prize (worth €10 000) will be announced. All winner projects will be on display in the exhibition “Design on Stage”, touring worldwide through design cities such as Essen, Berlin, Xiamen, Taipeh or Singapore.
