Having already won the IF Design Student Award 2023, it is the second international award for her media design project P Y R Y. Until spring 2024, the book will be displayed in the Red Dot Museum in Essen, where it is exhibited in a glass cabinet at temperatures below zero degrees and invites visitors to artistically explore the transcience of the allegedly everlasting ice. „In terms of content, the aesthetic photographs and their message could hardly be staged more intensively or more haptically experienceable; in terms of form, the special aesthetics of the risography and the technical realisation of the ice-covered pages are fascinating”, so the jury. The work at the DHBW Ravensburg was supervised by Prof. Herbert Moser, Prof. Dr. Holger Lund, Florian Tscharf and Fabian Karrer. Weier is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in contextual design at the Design Academy Eindhoven.

The Red Dot: Junior Award is a category of the Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design and is aimed at apprentices, students and young professionals who have graduated within the last two years. It is only awarded once a year for the most exceptional work of all contributions.
